Basic Concept
Yamazen considers global environmental issues as one of the key managerial challengers of the firm. We shall strive to preserve and continuously improve the global state of the earth by taking into consideration the environment in all our activities.
Basic Policy
Yamazen is a specialized trading firm providing products, services and intelligence that support manufacturing around the world and consumer goods that build comfortable living spaces. As such, we have established the following Basic Policy in order to preserve and continuously improve the global environment with the aim of realizing a society in harmony with nature.
1Consideration for the environment
Together with efforts to reduce the consumption of natural resources and energy we use in all of our business activities, we shall strive to prevent global warming and environmental pollution.
2Contribution to a recycling society
We shall work on reducing the amount of waste products we produce, promote the effective utilization of natural resources through recycling, and contribute to the realization of a recycling society.
3Spread of the use of environmentally friendly products
We shall strive to spread the use of “environmentally friendly products” which reduce the burden on the environment, and we shall contribute to the environmental improvement of places of production and living.
4Compliance with relevant laws and regulations
We shall comply with relevant laws, regulations and treaties. Moreover, we shall support voluntary environmental action plans in relevant industries and proactively promote the intent of these.
5Implementation of educational awareness activities
We shall familiarize all employees and officials of the Yamazen Group, as well as those working for the organization, with this Environmental Policy. We shall also promote education and awareness activities so that all employees are able to understand and act according to this Environmental Policy.
This environmental policy will be available to the public.
