We have developed service offices with advanced engineering capabilities and sales systems tailored to the local region in major industrial cities around the world. We provide comprehensive support for everything from line design and machine tool installation to after-sales maintenance. As a solutions provider that serves customers, we operate around the world.
Providing backup for regional societies and industrial development around the world
We are expanding globally in 15 overseas countries / regions, with 16 local subsidiaries and 71 offices. We have showrooms around the globe where customers can see and physically experience machine tools and various other equipment for themselves. There are approximately 1,200 employees of Yamazen group companies working overseas. Of these, approximately 300 are engineers with sophisticated skill sets. We provide a reassuring support structure, extending from proposing products that meet the customer's requirements, to system design by engineers, to maintenance after installation, and it is this structure that has won the backing of both customers and the manufacturers with which we deal. Displays at exhibitions around the world
Various local subsidiaries display products at many exhibitions, such as IMTS (United States), METALEX (Thailand) and IMTEX (India). At such events Yamazen staff introduce actual cutting-edge machine tools and peripheral equipment, etc., that have been matched to the needs of local industry. In addition, we support the bidirectional flow of business between Japan and the rest of the world through such initiatives as support not only for Japanese but also international companies for moves to overseas locations, international procurement of products, parts and materials, and consulting in relation to international transactions, etc.

Initiatives of the Global Business
Delivery of a fully automated production line for automotive parts
Our renowned international track record earned us orders to build a fully automated machining line for crankshafts, an automotive engine part. Our engineers combined parts from multiple equipment manufacturers and tool manufacturers to build and deliver the optimal production line. Meeting the precision requirements of the automotive manufacturer, we successfully built a 101-meter-long automated line with 24 processing steps and 38 machines, capable of processing 10,000 units per month, right on time.
Cross-border strategy
Recently, global manufacturing supply chains are undergoing constant major changes, creating what could be called “the normalization of change.” In addition, the relocation of production sites by companies around the world has accelerated. Leveraging our broad network and multinational human resources, we conduct cross-border sales activities, technical support, and equipment introduction support, which we call our cross-border strategy, and are advancing these efforts through close information sharing between work sites and headquarters.
