In China’s Automobile manufacturing hub of Chongqing, the 15th Lijia International Machine Tool Exhibition was held from April 23rd to 26th in the Chongqing International Convention & Exhibition Center, providing an opportunity for many visitors from the manufacturing industry to see a wide range of machine tools and devices used in manufacturing.

At the Yamazen Chongqing booth, new products and automation techniques were on display from eight companies: Brother Industries, CKD, Mitutoyo, Nikken Kosakusho, Sumitomo Electric Industries, Takisawa Machine Tool, Yamasaki Giken, and Tohnichi Mfg.

The new “SPEEDIO / SX700” series from Brother Industries for improving production efficiency on mass-production lines of automobiles and bikes, as well as Yukiwa NC rotary tables and Yamazen proprietary designed and built automated feed units were the highlights of this year’s exhibition. Many exhibition visitors were interested in seeing several automation techniques combining Takisawa CNC lathes and Yamazen proprietary designed and built automated feed units.

Additionally, Yamasaki Giken’s machining center, as well as machining devices like cutting and measuring tools, plus air valves, and cylinders were demonstrated for participants.

In the primarily automobile-producing region of Chongqing region, as companies like Chang’an Ford increase production capacity from the current 700,000 vehicles to around 3 million vehicles per year in 2030, Yamazen aims to be positioned to work with local parts vendors as they expand their production capacity.

Yamazen Chongqing used this year’s exhibition to bring together a group of mostly existing clients, with the aim of “expanding operations by aggressively marketing simple automation systems based on proprietary Yamazen design and manufacturing”.
